I pride myself on being an up-to-the-minute writer, but when you're on the coast you lose all sense of creative responsibility. I spent ten days in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. It's the type of place you try to stay for one night, but can never fully bring yourself to leave. I met dozens of great people at the Hotel Mayflower. We cooked together, beached together, drank together, and kissed together (sp?) This was the closest I've come to living in a utopian community... or at least since the last time
I got stuck in a beach town.
I love that facebook exists, because I love having pictures, but I hate taking them. These are some pictures that other people took of our adventure.
